Happy New Year 2023!

Happy New Year 2023! I hope everybody had a nice holiday season with your family and friends. I spent my holidays with my family with a bunch of good food and arts & crafts which made me very happy. A highlight of my holiday season was that I was able to introduce my young children Japanese traditional food, Toshikoshi Soba (buck wheat noodle soup) on New Year's Eve and Osechi (special and traditional food in a nice bento box) New Year's Day. This is very important for me to carry on my culture here in the U.S. and for my children. Do you have any traditional rituals that you still practice?

This month there are some fantastic Lunar New Year events that will be held in Austin! I will be in three events below, so don't miss out! We will have Chinese Dragon performance, great food and good times! Being a part of AAPI community here in Austin is like having a second family for me, so it's very important.
