Japanese Woman in Kimono - My family and I had a chance to visit my home country, Japan in July 2022 as our big adventure. We had so much of excitement and anticipation prior to this trip. I did not visit my home for 6 years and this was one of the most fantastic and memorable trip that we ever took. I recognized the beauty of Japanese culture and I appreciate even more about my origin now. This was a first piece that I painted during our trip. My children had a formal photo shoot in kimonos and I was in love with Japanese traditional fabric patterns.
